These porn posters are styled elegantly like film ones
'Artistic pornography goes beyond design furniture, violins, glasses of wine, golden masks and vanilla sex.'

Erika Lust’s XConfessions erotic film series is billed as ‘not a place for stereotypical porno-cheap imagery’, and as such its posters don’t follow in the suit of the clickbaity promotional GIF links that litter porn sites.
Instead, they look like they could be advertising Sundance films - albeit incredibly NSFW ones - incorporating carefully composed stills that are a million miles from the garish lo-resolution imagery that most associate with porn.
They’re not dissimilar to the posters for Gaspar Noe’s Love and Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac, just a little more overt about the film’s sexuality.
To director Erika, “artistic pornography goes beyond design furniture, violins, glasses of wine, golden masks and vanilla sex.
“We want to keep you excited: unlike many other adult sites, at XConfessions you won’t find the same story or setting twice.
“Every short film is a story on its own, displaying a huge variety of situations, characters, fetishes and ways of having sex.”
Look out for our feature on Erika and the rise of avant-garde pornography later this month.
