Lars Von Trier's wife, Bente Froge, receives the European Film 2011 award for his movie Melancholia at the 24th European Film Awards in Berlin.

The director himself has taken a "vow of silence" after joking that he was a Nazi at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
