Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Robert De Niro, three of the world's finest actors, and Martin Scorsese, one of its finest directors, have collaborated on a new short film.

It sounds like cause for celebration, except that the film in question is basically just an advert for a luxury resort in Macau for which they reportedly each took home $10 million.

De Niro and DiCaprio play fictionalised versions of themselves, both vying for the same part in Marty's new movie.

The dialogue in this first trailer features such classic lines as: "I'm going to be getting this part."

"No, I'm going to be getting this part!"

If Pitt did take home the same pay check as the others then that's truly incredible, given that he seems to appear in billboard image alone.

One can only imagine how they all laughed about this after filming, smoking cigars made of gold leaf and pinging caviar at each other.
