XX trailer: St Vincent makes her film debut in female-led horror anthology
Four deadly tales by four killer women
There's a brand new horror anthology on its way and judging by the first trailer, it looks set to terrify audiences.
Titled XX (no relation to Vin Diesel's xXx), the film - split into four parts - is a project led by both female actors and directors.
The trailer, which bills the film as "Four deadly tales by four killer women," flits between each story: The Birthday Party, Her Only Living Son, Don't Fall and The Box.
XX - which has been made in a similar vein to the male-heavy V/H/S films - marks the filmmaking debut of singer-songwriter St Vincent - real name Annie Clark - and elsewhere pulls together the talents of Karyn Kusama (The Invitation), Roxanne Benjamin and Jovanka Vuckovic
Acting wise, it's down to relative unknowns Natalie Brown, Melanie Lynskey Breeda Wool and Christina Kirk to head up each tale.
You can see the film's poster below.

XX is released in the US on 17 February.
