This lugubrious drama opens at a funeral in a small Cotswolds town and proceeds to gauge the aftermath upon several different characters. Duane Hopkins has a patient eye, and catches moments of austere beauty as it scans the bleak surroundings, but his mostly young cast is left hanging by chilly direction and an inadequate script.
