Mark Ruffalo's New York bus driver mows down a pedestrian (Allison Janney) while flirting with Anna Paquin's teen, Lisa.

At first the intense student informs the police it was an accident, but after wrestling with her hectoring conscience she decides it wasn't. Kenneth Lonergan's maddening, unwieldy drama took six years to reach the screen and even after extensive editing it's still a mess. However, there are pockets of compelling dialogue and acting, particularly from J Smith-Cameron as Lisa's anxious mother.
