“You can clear up the mess now but don't touch my coffin.”

The box holds Django's big weapon, see. Sadism and ultra-violence are the order of the day for Sergio Corbucci's evocative spaghetti Western, which has heavily influenced Tarantino's excellent latest, Django Unchained. Franco Nero's weary superhero arrives in a dismal border town where he sparks a feud between a group of racist fanatics and some Mexican banditos. A cold-hearted gem from 1966.
