Disney's exquisitely animated 1950's version of Charles Perrault's 17th-century fable has never been matched and Eleanor Audley's deliriously cruel stepmother is still a fright, particularly when she snaps "You clumsy little fool!" when the bullied Cinderella drops the crockery.
