This Magic Roundabout feature-length spin-off is everything you'd expect from the children's stop-motion series, and more.

Finally released on DVD 38 years after it first aired, it is a dark, surreal affair notable not only for Eric Thompson's outstanding script and voices, but also Fenella Fielding's spooky "blue voice", which drives newcomer Buxton the cat's dastardly plans. Creepily terrific for kids, it's equally entertaining for reminiscing adults.
