An unacknowledged remake of Eighties comedy Planes, Trains And Automobiles, Todd Phillips's Due Date is a road movie that doesn't stray far from the beaten track.
But at least its central odd couple is unusual, even if the plot isn't. Robert Downey Jr can be selfish and vicious, rather than the uptight everyman you'd expect, while Zach Galifianakis's prim sociopath is wonderfully weird as well as quite touching.
