One of last year's most detestable films, this self-help slop has Julia Roberts getting over her mid-life ennui by going travelling for a year – luckily she's not short of cash – and learning the most feeble of life-lessons: it's a revelation to discover that Italians use hand gestures when they talk.
Take away the vapid psychobabble, and Eat Pray Love is a maddeningly slow slideshow of someone else's holiday snaps.
