Nature doesn't get any better than this. David Attenborough, Britain's greatest asset, narrates the BBC's sensational documentary on the Arctic and Antarctic.

The world is going to hell in a handcart and global warming (which is addressed here) will drown future generations, but at least we have Attenborough, a passionate 85-year-old enthusiast who braves -15C, temperatures for our pleasure. This epic, exquisite series includes pilfering penguins (the rock-stealing scene is endlessly re-watchable), battling polar bears, and the most gorgeous cinematography you'll ever see. It's a mesmeric experience, and should probably be shown in every dentist waiting room to becalm patients.
