Mel Gibson is mad again, this time as a nameless crook who ends up, after a high-speed car chase through the desert, banged up by bent cops at Mexico's notorious "El Pueblito", a town-size prison that houses 6,000 prisoners and their families.
Gibson sleepwalks through this warped, but never dull, modern Western.
