A gun-toting rebel angel (Paul Bettany) defends humanity from the flesh-eating zombies unleashed by the Almighty – sounds fun, doesn't it?

And whenever Legion embraces its own ludicrousness, it's a fizzing cocktail of The Terminator and Dawn of the Dead. The problems come when it takes itself seriously, giving every single character their own heartfelt monologue to recite while the zombies obligingly wait for them to finish. No film with a cannibal granny in it should ever be as boring as this.
