It may be an Abba-free zone, but this sweet Mediterranean romance has so much in common with Mamma Mia (Pierce Brosnan included) that it could have been marketed as a remake.
The difference is that here, the middle-aged lovers, Brosnan and Trine Dyrholm, are sufficiently battered by life to seem like human beings we can care about, an impression deepened by the unhurried pacing and post-Dogme handheld camerawork.
