DVD review: Django Unchained
Quentin Tarantino is back on top form with this bold, bloody and frequently laugh-out-loud funny "deep southern western", the tale of a freed slave, Jamie Foxx, who teams up with a loquacious bounty hunter, Christoph Waltz, to take on a flamboyantly loathsome plantation owner, Leonardo DiCaprio.
All three actors are terrific, thanks in no small part to dialogue which leaves Tarantino's many imitators in the dust.
