In François (8 Femmes, Swimming Pool) Ozon's tantalising comedy drama, a prissy creative-writing teacher (Fabrice Luchini) is intrigued by a 16-year-old pupil's essays.
They seem to be describing the home-life of a classmate, but instead of discouraging such sneaky voyeurism, the teacher can't resist spurring on his new protégé. It's a brilliant premise – and if it weren't for the fizzle of an ending, it might have been a brilliant film.
