Elizabeth Goudge's children's fantasy novel, The Little White Horse, was one of the inspirations for both the Narnia chronicles and the Harry Potter series, but this confused adaptation won't be inspiring anyone.

Dakota Blue Richards plays a haughty orphan who is sent to live in the country with her grumpy uncle, Ioan Gruffudd. She then learns of a random curse which can only be lifted if she carries out some random task or other. Embarrassing twaddle.
