DVD: Wild Bill

A shell-suited hardman, Charlie Creed-Miles, is released from prison to find that his ex-wife has abandoned his two sons in a filthy council flat, and that the local drug dealers are circling.

Directed and co-written by Dexter Fletcher, Wild Bill may sound like just another post-Lock, Stock East-End crime caper, but it's actually the most affecting, funny, and sure-footed comedy-drama that we're likely to see this year.
