A British underdog comedy of no great distinction.

Eddie Marsan plays a medieval battle re-enactor whose emotional stuntedness has alienated him from his wife (Jessica Hynes) and son. Vito Rocco's film wants to be endearing – too desperately – and pumps up the feel-good soundtrack (Madness, Tenpole Tudor, Proclaimers) when what's really required is a decent screenplay, with jokes.
