If that subtitle doesn't make you cough up a fur ball, then try this sequel's dismal effort to relocate the "fun" to a stately home in England - that's near Europe, right?

Bill Murray, voicing the marmalade moggy in his patented deadpan style, manages to tweak the funny bone a couple of times, which is more than can be said of Billy Connolly's desperately unfunny grasping aristocrat bent on murdering a cat - Garfield's English doppelganger Prince - in order to inherit the estate. At one point a whole chorus of farmyard animals, including Bob Hoskins as a bulldog, are herded into the kitchen to make lasagne, which involves a pig helping to roll pasta sheets. I laughed, but don't let that encourage you.
