This family entertainment is decently made but incredibly boring. Emma Roberts and Jake T Austin play orphaned siblings who, unbeknown to their slobbish foster-parents (Kevin Dillon, Lisa Kudrow), have discovered an abandoned hotel and turned it into a refuge for the city's strays. These mutts even have their own gym. Don Cheadle is great as the children's kindly social worker, but he's wasted on this mangy stuff.
