Idris Elba plays a US soldier whose murky "black ops" past comes home to roost when he's taken hostage and tortured. Holed up in a dingy Brooklyn motel room, he writhes in a delirium as he tries to pull his fractured psyche back together. Thomas Ikimi's script has no credibility, wit or suspense, and Elba's soliloquies to the bathroom mirror prove long and tedious.
