A sobering and sometimes harrowing documentary about the genocidal massacres in Darfur.
Former US marine Brian Steidle, armed only with a camera, went to Sudan in 2004 to help monitor a ceasefire, but instead found shocking evidence of Arab militias burning villages and murdering the natives. Steidle, racked with guilt as he watches villages go up in smoke, has made noble efforts to alert the West to this humanitarian crisis, but help is slow in coming – and the killing goes on.
