Looking on the sunny side, this remake of Alan Clarke's football-thugs drama is watchable – the acting fine, Eighties stylings and references are fine, obscure East End slang ("You melt", "You dry lunch") entertaining.
But given that the original's on DVD, Love's done hooliganism, and the plot gets shut down just when it's getting interesting: why?
