From the creators of the 2004 anime hit Appleseed comes this hi-tech parable about depersonalisation. In the mid-21st century Japan has become savagely isolationist, while it pursues dangerous experiments in biotechnology.

Prepare yourself for X-Box-like mayhem between robots and humans, topped off with a moral about the need for goodwill to all, etc. On the plus side, the animation is breathtaking; on the debit side, it's another story about America keeping the world safe.
