On August 20, audiences in the US can see a man-eating fish horror film in 3D, a magical nanny and a romantic comedy with surprising pregnancy. Plus Wednesday, August 18, Vampires Suck gets a jump on the weekend competition with its mockery of the popular vampire craze.

Vampires Suck
This spoof of The Twilight Saga and other vampire fare has recently enjoyed a surge of interest on the internet. Co-written and directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer ( Date Movie, Epic Movie, Disaster Movie), this tongue-in-cheek horror comedy features an ensemble of new young actors, centered on a teen torn between two boys.

Prehistoric man-eating fish terrorizes a lake resort and a group of strangers band together to try to stop the creature's mass feeding. This 3D remake of the 1978 horror movie featuring Elisabeth Shue ( Leaving Las Vegas), Ving Rhames ( Surrogates) and Richard Dreyfuss ( W., Red), is directed by Alexandre Aja ( Mirrors). http://piranha-3d.com/

The Switch
This offbeat romantic-comedy stars Jennifer Aniston ( The Bounty Hunter), Jason Bateman ( The Invention of Lying) and Jeff Goldblum ( Man of the Year) and is directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck ( Blades of Glory). Adapted from the short story, "The Baster," by Pulitzer Prize-winner Jeffrey Eugenides, the story follows an unmarried woman who seeks a sperm donor to become pregnant, and gets a surprise seven years later. http://theswitch-movie.com/

Nanny McPhee Returns
The sequel to Nanny McPhee (2005), this family fantasy stars Emma Thompson, Maggie Gyllenhaal ( Crazy Heart), Maggie Smith ( Harry Potter films), and Ralph Fiennes ( Clash of the Titans). Co-written by actress Thompson, the story is set during wartime when a nanny assists a mother with the family farm, using magic to teach the children new lessons.
