Tonight’s the night - it’s our fourth Longitude!

Longitude is once again upon us and all eyes are firmly fixed on the Century Club as we head to Soho this evening for a little slice of the festival ahead of Latitude.

Tonight our fantastic host and author of hit blog 'How To Write badly Well', Joel Stickley, will lead us through an evening of live performance from cabaret sketch-trio, WitTank, award-winning comedienne and TV regular, Katherine Ryan and just announced Lail Arad, a past Latitude performer and folk-inspired singer-songwriter due to the unfortunate cancellation of Liz Green due to illness.

We caught up with Katherine Ryan ahead of this evening to talk Tim Minchin, Nicki Minaj and what to expect from her performance at Latitude.

Expect to feel tingly in and around the nipple area.

Who’s your must-see performance at Latitude this year?

Absolutely Tim Minchin. He's a tidy neighbour, a nice man, and a flipping genius.

I hate sandwiches.

If any artist could do a guest appearance with you at Latitude who would that be and why?

Nicki Minaj because we are the same.

You have performed at Latitude in the past – what has been your best memory from the festival?

FOOD. And coffee. Coffee is the new booze, trust me. Watching Steve Hughes after about eight cups of coffee was totally unicorns.

What’s been your weirdest festival experience?

Bringing my 20-DAY-OLD baby to Latitude in 2009. We lasted two hours.
