Sir: Yesterday Duncan Hadfield (The Independent Recommends, 25 September) wrote "George Gershwin was born 100 years ago today, in celebration of which Anthony Inglis conducts the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a stirring tribute concert." Whereas, actually, George Gershwin was born 100 years ago today, in celebration of which Wayne Marshall conducts Birmingham Contemporary Music Group in a stirring tribute concert at Symphony Hall, Birmingham.
