Sir: Saturday's edition announced that The Independent was about to become "even bigger and better". However, I was only able to read this once I had pieced together a newspaper that had been shredded by the newspaper boy's attempts to squeeze it through a standard-size letter box. Not much bigger I hope - for his sake and your readers' Sellotape stocks.
