Letter: Anti-car

Sir: Your letters on "the transport crisis" (21 december) reflect real concerns, but here in our Cotswold village the recent cold snap reduced traffic to about 10 per cent of normal movements. Perhaps all that Gus Macdonald needs to do is to import some ordinary Scottish weather into the Home Counties.
