Sir: Martin Willcox (letter, 2 October) would do well to read Hugh Gleave's letter on the same page. It would appear to me that Mr Milosevic has been the enemy as far as Britain is concerned since 1992. Can you imagine what the Serbs are supposed to make of German planes flying from Italian bases to attack Serbia? 1939-45 isn't so far back.

It's bad enough Blair and Cook mouthing off before switching their brain into gear without our readers doing likewise.
