Sir: On the BBC news the other night there was a report from a correspondent in the newsroom. Over his shoulder there was a TV monitor clearly showing a Sergeant Bilko rerun. Is this part of a BBC training programme for political correspondents to enable them to cope with the deviousness of spin-doctors?
