Sir: I don't want to appear ungrateful, having been given a free ticket to the Dome last Sunday, but, oh dear... There is no sense of grandeur and anticipation as you arrive at North Greenwich station, because the Dome is off to the left.
I expected a feeling akin to entering a cathedral when entering the Dome but this is lost, because the "zones" and facilities are arranged like a doughnut inside the Dome and you are immediately surrounded by them, with the height of the Dome hidden.
The whole experience lacks focus, because the themes of the zones are a bit woolly and there are no real links between them.
All in all, its just a mixture of Alton Towers and the Lakeside shopping centre - and not as well done as either.
