Sir: Stephen Richards (Right of Reply, 27 April) attempts to disprove the notion that the people calling for an English parliament are Southerners by mentioning support as far North as Yorkshire. To the inhabitants of Cleveland, Durham, Tyneside, Cumbria and Northumberland, this does not go very far in defence of his point.
