Sir: Mr Michael W Stone (letter, 2 October) does not understand why breast- feeding a baby has "special status" as compared with his own lunching habits.
He might like to consider that when he feels peckish he can probably wait a while without undue distress, whereas a young baby needs to be fed. I am not sure that a baby would necessarily enjoy watching Mr Stone eating his lunch either.
