Sir: As a "housewife at home", I resent the assumption that I want lighter domestic news ("ITN's news at teatime is missing big stories", 12 November). Domestic duties and supper are rarely finished in time for the BBC's Nine O'Clock News. News at Ten provided a reasonably intelligent comment and is missed.
