Sir: What a strange situation. News at Ten last night (19 January) showed many dead bodies in Kosovo. They were a horrendous sight, especially as the outside world seems so impotent to better the situation. However, when a clip was to be shown about cruelty to animals, Trevor McDonald warned viewers that they might be offended by the sight!
