Letter: In brief
Sir: The Health Education Authority (report, 18 March) accuses the tobacco industry of misleading smokers by using such terms as "light" or "mild", yet ignores the advice of the Independent Scientific Committee on Smoking and Health given to government and the industry that "they should consider what further action could be taken to persuade more smokers to favour low-tar brands" (1988).
