Letter: In Brief

Sir: It was with great relief that I read Serena Mackesy's feature "Letter to a Past-It Girl" (4 May). I had read several accounts, over the weekend, of Ms P-T seeking treatment for exhaustion, all of which seemed to be very sympathetic. My reaction was, "Are they all mad, how can this girl be exhausted she has never done a day's work in her life?" I now realise I was not alone.
