Sir: You state that "six [demonstrators] went into ... NatWest ... but left after the police were called" ("How protest turned into destruction", 19 June). We both took part in a sit-in at NatWest on 18 June to protest about its role in the arms trade (NatWest is a banker for both British Aerospace and GEC). We did not "leave" but were ejected by the police using unreasonable force. We were also carried out of HSBC (for the same reason).
