Sir: Brian Pocock (letter, 8 July) enlightens us with the news that "Yugoslavia remains a truly multi-ethnic society with constitutional guarantees". It is a pity these "guarantees" were no barrier to 10 years of racist state propaganda directed at the Kosova Albanian population, or to discriminatory property laws, specific to Kosova, aimed at facilitating settlement by ethnic Serbs.
