Letter: In Brief
Sir: How odd that an industrial tribunal should rule that the requirement for a single mother to work double shifts prevented her from caring for her baby properly and amounted to sex discrimination ("Mother's victory on long hours", 2 August). Presumably, then, a single father faced with the same problem would just be expected to manage?
