Sir: I was intrigued to read the details of William Hague's latest image makeover, specifically the Project Hague memo (report, 13 August). Most interesting are the details of the attire in which the new, relaxed "boy of the people" is set to appear in future publicity shots. The bottom line of the segment printed by yourselves is quite disturbing, however, as it appears that Mr Hague is to pose at the conference in "dresses to be arranged by Amanda....". What can it all mean?
