Sir: So "ambulance drivers" are among the 999 workers who "are colluding with `cowboy' personal injury claims assessors who rip off clients by under-settling their compensation" (report, 13 August). Well, what a relief. It would have been such a scandal if the scam had involved any of those nice, highly-skilled ambulance paramedics and technicians who staff our NHS Ambulance Service.
