Sir: Anne McElvoy writes of the Conservative Party (Comment, 23 August) that "a strategy for fighting the next election is beginning to emerge". Surely the outline of the next Tory manifesto has been clear for several months - kill foxes, hate foreigners and start the war again in Northern Ireland. (Don't think I'll be voting for them.)
