Sir: Contrary to your report (26 August) on the Perrier Award, the 1994 winners, the Australian duo Lano and Woodley did not go on "to utter obscurity". They went on to, of all places, Australia, where they've toured and made TV series for the last five years. This is obscurity only from the uniquely insular perspective of the UK comedy establishment.
