Sir: Why doesn't Ken Livingstone be original and start a St George's Day celebration in London ("Livingstone vows official St Patrick's Day parade", 25 August)? If you wish to celebrate St Patrick's day, go to Dublin, or even New York. I don't think the Welsh or Scots would want a St Patrick's Day parade. Why should we?
