Sir: I have a bone to pick with your front-page article "Beanie world in shock as babies are killed off" (2 September) which incorrectly refers to "Pugsly the Pig" when in fact he should be "Pugsly the Pug" (dog). Your correspondent has made a pig's ear of the story. In addition to Pugsly's pending retirement, this poor journalism will no doubt result in the dog feeling even ruffer than he otherwise might be.
