Letter: In Brief
Sir: What is it with the British (or should that be the English?) that makes them enjoy being patronised by ersatz aristos like the late Alan Clark MP? If I turned up for work drunk, at the least I would be sent home or at the worst sacked. And could a Labour MP get away with saying Hitler should have been allowed to deal with the inhabitants of the European mainland as he wished?
